Happy Snow Day

YUSH it finally snowed *cue happy dance* Granted, it was a light flurry (but it stuck!) and melted by the next morning, but it was lovely. It had been an entire YEAR since I've seen snow! A WHOLE YEAARRRRR! *pout face* Anyways, I'm baacccckkkk...! I apologize for my ever-present absence (...I don't know, either...)and will atone for it by posting more.
I swear.
*troll face*
No, but seriously, I will. And, also, I'm beginning a Tumblr account to post some of my art, because I've all but abandoned my Deviantart, so there. I'll be giving a link on my profile when I get around to it. I have so much art to post...*sigh* but I never color it, so no one ever bothers to look. *all of my cries* Anyways, my co-blogger Cloud has finally recovered from that horrible spleen...ordeal...so she'll be joining us eventually. Annndd several guests *spoilers* no one special (By special I mean famous. Don't hate me.), just people who aren't going to post often. Like, ever.
You know, I woke up awfully early this morning (3:30- that's not normal for me or any other self- respecting living organisms) and coincidentally I have an immaculate fear of navigating through the dark, and it was pretty dark. And thundering outdoors. And my nightlight had burned out (yes, a nightlight. Nightlights are for cool kids *acquires shades*. And it's a Spoka, for future reference. Put it on my Wikipedia.). So, I just sat in bed, eyes wide and sheets pulled over my face.
This, children, is what Final Destination does to you before you go to sleep.
So, eventually my mind wandered and I thought about Terezi a little bit, sprinkled out randomly between my random thoughts, for I was tired and could not think properly. It's obvious that one in his right mind wouldn't dwell on thoughts of Terezi for too long, as she disturbs the crap out of everyone. Anyway, I also thought about a couple kids I knew back in the period between 1st-3rd grade (weren't those fun times...) who were exactly like that. Oh, come on, we all knew them at one point. That annoying girl with he weird hair and the obnoxious grin who was the type that would carry frogs around or do something equally 1st grade-ish. That's basically Terezi in a nutshell, now that I've thought about it. Anyways, off topic. I'll be starting to introduce different characters in a character spotlight sort of thing when you don't feel like going on wikia or something and just happened to be here. That, and I really just want to fill this page with useless nonsense.
Until next time, fair ones, and prepare for major PIPA and SOPA bashing. Because, obviously, SOPA becoming a legalized law will result in Homestuck being forced off the web, because of all the copyrighted references sprinkled within. So, if you support SOPA (99.9% of the internet doesn't agree with you, if so, and punishment will be doled out in the form of Betty Crocker food products stuffed down your trachea) and love Homestuck at the same time, you are contradicting yourself. Anyway, spoilers.

...and a Happy New Year's

Blarrrgghhh...well, here I am. First actual post. I'm so tiiirrreeddd...I just woke up 2 hours ago and it's like, what, 3:30? Hnnngggg....*shuffles under covers* But yes. First, I'd like to announce that this blog will be operated by three (mostly two) people, so expect different opinions and such. My friend Claudia may or may not agree to this (but I shall force her either way) and Rachel will HAVE to. One way or another. So there.
Well...um...I don't really know how to begin this blog off without sounding lame and It's obvious that I'm trying to avoid having people avoid me, so...um...well, I'm not going to do off any introductions to Homestuck, but rather just hop into random blathering about me and my Homestuck-ness. The others will do the same once I strap them to the computer chair to blog on here. All the real important stuff is coming soon-ish. Sooo...about me and Homestuck...hm...well, my favorite character overall is definatly Eridan, the fish troll, just because he has such a complex character story even though he was introduced so late into the story. I also think his hipster-ness is pretty sweet, despite his genocidal habits. My favorite kid has to be John, because of his precious derp-ness and I find his meek quality to be endearing. He also reminds me of myself at times. My favorite troll is, of course, Eridan (...gah...the hate mail will come in swarms...), but a close second is a triple tie with Gamzee, Karkat, and Tavros. Karkat because he's Karkat (his simple, practical character design is also surprisingly interesting for some reason; also the ever-ongoing "Pantskat" is hilarious) Gamzee because...*shrugs* hOnK :O) I don't know, he's just Gamzee. And Tavros for sure because he is the peanut butter to jelly Gamzee. They fit. They are perfect together, and nothing much more can be said. So, with Gamzee comes great responsibilty. And Tavros. That is all to be said on the matter. My favorite act is 1, call me a stickler for retro if you may, but despite the overall poor quality of it compared to other's, it was the beginning of it all. Come on guys, the beginning. That's a big deal. Also, that cake scene killed me (I'm usually into more indepth stories with an actual plot, but I found that strangely funny, and it hooked me. I don't know how. Don't ask, don't tell). Act 3 was okay, too. I think that's a good sum up of my likes and dislikes (I'll tell you now, I really, really dislike Cal. Like, too much to put into words. It scares the Faygo out of me every time. That face... O.o) , and I'll post again (or get someone else to) when I feel up to it. ~Abby

Uh, hey.

How's it going? *expects response* *gets no response* ...*dies a little inside* okay, then...Hey. Um, I'm Youjustdon'tknowityet (my Pesterchum username is HalibioticHopeful, I guess) or Abby. Whichever one is easier to say in a rush. So yes. here you are. You somehow wandered onto my blog, either by your sheer, compelling love of Homestuck, or by accident. If so (by accident), you're probably staring at this and wondering what is going on. Fear not, ignorant friends. If you decide to read on, you wil soon find yourself sucked into the realm of Andrew Hussie's webcomic.
You may never return.
But that's okay.
So, yes, this is my budding blog. It's a side blog to my other, of which I have temporarily forgot the name of BUT I'm sure I'll remember someday...Anyway, today's New Year's Eve so I need to get in some rest if I want to witness the unimportant but somehow popular tradition of watching an enormous sphere of sloppily painted glass dropping from hundreds of feet only to either shatter against the pavement or be stuffed under someone's bed after the event and never touched again. So yes. The Homestucking shall commence once all beforementioned holidays have come and gone. Thanks. Happy New Year's guys! Sit tight, hang out with family, eat food, witness glass balls dropping, and hope the world doesn't end! ~Abby
